Dubai shopping festival short termed as the DSF, is not only the most awaited event in Dubai, but it is also awaited by  millions of outsiders. Almost all the leading shopping malls and hypermarkets take part in it actively. They offer discounts up to 70%  and they also sponsor many lucky draws, raffle coupons, scratch cards and more.

Global Village.

At the exit  37, Emirates/ Mohammed bin Zayed road lies this village of  delight. This part of the DSF starts even before the rest of Dubai shopping festival spree actually begins and remains even after them. The longest event in the DSF you could say. Global village as its  name indicated has a unique concept of bringing the globe under this one big stall. The merchandise, food and  culture from almost all the countries can be experienced. The goods from each country is beautifully organized within a pavilion representing that country. The pavilions are usually the dummies of famous ports, fortress and palaces of their respective nations.

From the Chinese pavilion you can get all the big catches with less price, whereas from the Indian pavilion is known for its rare spieces and other herbal remedies along with handicrafts. There are a lot more countries like Pakistan, Thailand, and more… Apart from the pavilions it also has a huge variety of fun filled games, rides and mouth luring food stalls.

The Dubai shopping festival Carnival

It is a must watch and luckily they have it this year too. Watch the exotic performers parade off with their stunning performance. A truly spectacular sight, lots of acrobats, percussionists, dancers…  Often tourist complain that it is difficult to catch. It is actually held only on the weekends, on every  weekend till the DSF  lasts.

Talented musicians, cyclists, jugglers and so many more artists from around the world will be participating in this parade. Every weekend you have a different show. The themes and platforms of the parade may also vary. Arabic, Russian or Chinese based, the theme can be anything.

 

Dubai Dolphinarium

Dubai Dolphinarium  is  a famous attraction for both the residents and tourists. Apart from the Dolphins, they also have exquisite seals and exotic birds show.
